First shopping trip post in quite a while. I’ve been doing a lot of little shopping trips with a few items here and there as I’ve been trying to clear some room in my stockpile. But, since it was customer appreciation day at Safeway today and I’ve been running through wet wipes like crazy with summer activities I figured it was a great time to stock up and use up some free product coupons!

Here’s the breakdown:

Extreme Couponing Canada Shopping This Weekend at Superstore & Walmart, 93% Savings

Did a bit of shopping this weekend to pick up some great deals at Superstore and Walmart.

This is my first time trying Woolite since it’s usually much more expensive, but is on for a rock bottom price of $4.47 at Superstore this week. Definitely a great deal since there’s also an mail in rebate for a $10 gift card when you spend $30 or more on select Reckitt Benckiser products.

I also found a fantastic clearance on vacuum bags for 1/10th of the price I usually pay. My vacuum is ancient since we have very little carpet and use it mainly for rugs but it’s still going strong!

Here’s the breakdown:

3 x Airwick Freshmatic Kits $6.97 – (2) $5 coupons when you spend $10 on Airwick (from insert & printed from smartsource.ca) = $10.91/3
3 x Woolite Laundry Detergent $4.47 – (3) $3 coupons from insert = $1.47 each
2 x Quaker Granola Bars $0.79 (short expiry) – $1 WUB 2 from summer savings booklet found in-store = $0.29
2 x Hoover Vacuum Bags $0.84 each!

Subtotal: $37.58
Taxes: $4.51

Extreme Couponing Canada Shopping: Using Up June FPC’s For 95% Savings At Save On Foods & London Drugs

Since June is coming to and end and I had a few free product coupons to use up I stopped by Save on Foods & London Drugs today. If you have country naturals sausage free product coupon from Facebook remember this weekend is the time to redeem them!

The Glade was a great deal because London Drugs has an in-store coupon for a free refill when you purchase 2 starter kits. I asked if I could stack it with the FPC’s and the supervisor didn’t have a problem! DBF and I each used one holder and one spray coupon since they’re one per customer.

Extreme Couponing Canada Shopping: 86% Savings Off Retail At Walmart & Safeway

Yesterday I stopped by Walmart and Safeway to grab some deals and for the first time since the $3 Nexxus coupons hit shelves, I finally found some in-store! Also picked up 2 Dove men gift sets, an awesome clearance find at $5. Each gift set includes a metal gift basket, shampoo, body wash, deodorant and a scrubber!

Anyway, here’s the breakdown:

As per usual when Emily and I go coupon hunting we also checkout stores for great deals and do a bit of shopping. Today we found some clearance items and stumbled upon some specials we didn’t know about including free dozen eggs when you buy Becel at IGA.

Makes for a great deal since the lowest a dozen eggs goes for is $2.49 and after coupon the Becel is just $2.99!
