Coupon printer troubleshooting – Installation not working
Some online coupons require you to install a coupon printer in order to access the coupons. Once you install the coupon printer, you can print off any coupon that requires this type of software. We’ve been hearing that there are some problems either with installation or coupons not printing properly, so we’ve put together these troubleshooting tips that will hopefully help you solve your problem.
There is no direct link to the coupon printer. If you are accessing a coupon that requires use of the printer it will prompt the installation.
If you have the printer installed but it does not print coupons:
When you go to print, click on “run” instead of “install”.
Your printer settings may be preventing the installation process:
Check your printer settings by going to your control panel and selecting printer.
Select advanced settings and try these options:
Spool Print Documents so program finishes printing faster
Print Directly to Computer
Hold Mismatched Documents
Print Spooled Documents First
Enable Advanced Printing Features
Keep Printed Documents
Check your pop-up blocker:
The coupon printer may need to open a pop up window to print your coupon. Turn off your pop-up blocker or allow pop-ups from the coupon website.
Check your anti-virus/firewall:
You anti-virus may be preventing you from installation of the coupon software, just turn it off momentarily while you install and you can turn it back on afterwards.
If none of these tips worked for you, try contacting the company website that you are trying to install the coupon printer from (coupons.com, or manufacturer company) for any specific troubleshooting tips they can offer you.
