    • Tina I agree with you whole-heartedly that there’s nothing like cunrlig up with a book or newspaper, or the occasional magazine. We spend enough time at our computers! And I can’t even imagine sitting at my computer to enjoy a novel!I even keep office supply catalogues on hand because it’s easier for me to find the products I want in the printed book than it is on some of the suppliers’ websites.

    • The ticket soulhd give you details of how to appeal. If not, i would suggest you keep quiet until they chase you for the money. When you do speak to them, tell them that you did purchase a ticket, and you parked as per all the instructions you were given. i would also send them a copy of your parking slip. The important thing is to be firm and clear in what your are saying, and what you expect, but to be honest and fair at the same time.I had a similar situation in birmingham (uk) where the slip flipped over as i shut the car door. I e-mailed them with a scan of the slip, saying, as you can see, i had a valid ticket i obeyed all parking rules and i therefore will not pay the fine i trust that you will now close this matter.’11 months later i got an e-mail saying that because of the time elapsed (i hadn’t heard from them since the ticket) they weren’t going to follow it up.
