DBF and a friend each put in $100 to purchase toys from a previous employer who allows them to buy at cost price for the occasion. Here are the results of their efforts, ~$400 of toys for $200!

On Friday December 9th, we had the pleasure of bringing everything we spent the last month collecting down to The Beat Cares Holiday Toy and Food Drive.

It was such great fun. The spirit at this event is always so uplifting. It’s wonderful to see everyone coming together during the holiday season and put forth a cumulative effort to help those in need.

Every little bit counts, especially during this time of the year when the need for assistance is at an all time high.

If you happen to spot a great coupon deal while grocery shopping that makes an item free or cheap, consider picking that item up and dropping it off in the food bank bin on the way out. Most grocery stores have a bin up front for the holiday season! Easy and convenient!

A little donation can make a huge difference.
